Agile and ThinMan work closely together to manage devices where Agile is installed. Starting from Agile ver. 2.1.0 and ThinMan ver. 7.7.0, it is possible to deliver a Connection Profile for Users to Agile devices using any of the following presentation modes:
The Connection Profile for User, also called User Profile, is loaded runtime after ThinMan Login (refer to Use ThinMan Login with Agile). This profile:
A User Profile is distributed via User Policy, which associates specific User Profiles with individual users.
When a user logs in, ThinMan checks if the user is associated with a Connection Profile for Users. If so, ThinMan sends the corresponding User Profile to the device. This ensures that the user's Resources are available, even if they log in to a different device.

For more information about how to deliver configuration based on user authentication, read Connections Profile for Users and Users Policy. Read also How to protect the Thin Client with ThinMan Login), Devices Policy
To use User Profiles, a ThinMan Server with an Advanced License with Feature Pack User+ is required.
In order to use the ThinMan Profile Manager, the device must point to the ThinMan server. For more information, read How to configure the ThinMan Settings.
To be sure that the devices are correctly linked to the ThinMan Server open the ThinMan Console and verify that the Notified parameter has WSS or HTTPS Linked value.
Right-click on the device that you had previously configured, and select the menu Offline Configurations -> Receive from Device.
This operation will read the configuration from the device and store it into the ThinMan Server.
To be sure that the configuration was successfully executed, please read the parameter Offline Configuration of the device in the console, it has to be Yes followed by the family of the configuration (e.g. Yes - Family Agile).
Right-click on the device that you had previously configured, and select the menu Offline Configuration -> Add new User Policy.
Insert a name on the Create Policy Wizard (e.g. "default_agile") and click on OK.
Extend the Profile tree (click on the + sign), you will find:
Right-click on the created User Policy and select the menu Properties....
Open the Users and Groups tab and associates Users and Groups to the Policy (remind: the list of Users and Group is loaded from the Active Directory server; see Options - LDAP Server Configuration).
On the above example, 2 users have been selected. This association means that when the user dummy10 or dummysup logs in a device using the ThinMan Login (see the Use ThinMan Login with Agile), the Resources available to the user will be those saved in the User Profile (and not the ones stored on the device).
Click on OK to save the Policy.
Follow the guide Use ThinMan Login with Agile to activate the ThinMan Login on Agile devices.
On the User Policy Properties remind to flag the option Enable User Policy.
