The models A90-RFX, D90-RFX, E91-RFX, N90-RFX, N91-RFX and U90-RFX have some specific features to pay attention to:
- only one connection available;
- only RDP Connection is supported.
Remember that the configuration can be easily and automatically deployed on your thin clients using the Profile Manager feature of the ThinMan Server.
In the initial wizard, in addition to the parameters already described in Initial Installation, you have to select the type of RDP connection that will be created.
You can select between:
- Remote Desktop Client Connection
- RDP Web Client Connection
- RDP Praim Desktop Client Connection
- Custom File (see the "RDP File" section in Remote Desktop Client Connection)
Then you have to insert the server address for the Microsoft Server or for Microsoft Web Access server or to import the RDP file (save it on a USB Key).
This operation will create a connection and an environment with these characteristics:
- single (and unique) connection with the name "Microsoft RDS" (you can edit the connection parameters or you can create a new connection after you delete the initial one)
- connection in autostart mode (it is executed when the device is powered on)
- TLS + NLA security option and full-screen desktop size for Remote Desktop Client Connection
- User Interface set to Full Desktop
- RDP Global Settings set to RDP 8.1 protocol
- SSH protocol enabled in Security settings
You could obviously change all these settings and the single connection using the Control Panel or the Connections Manager of the device.
