The Keyboard Filter feature is available only on Agile4PC. It allows defining which key or key combination are NOT sent to the operating system. This feature enables the administrator to protect the device from keyboard shortcut that can be entered in one of the following presentation modes: Windows, Desktop, Multi-Apps, Single-App or Quick-App.

¶ What is the Keyboard Filter for?
A typical example is the CTRL + ALT+ DEL key combination that in the Windows O.S. will open a menu that allows to change the password, change the user, or lock the PC. If you filter this key combination, whenever you press CTRL + ALT + DEL nothing will happen on the device.
Feature Availability
This feature is available for Windows 10 IoT Praim Thin Client, Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise/Education devices.
¶ Keyboard Filter configuration panel
Click on the "Keyboard Filter" tab in the Agile configurator.
From here you can select:
- Enable Keyboard Filter: will enable the Keyboard Filter feature.
- Bypass Keyboard Filter for Administrator users: if you enable this property the Keyboard filter is not applied to the administrator users of the device (e.g. in Praim device "Admin" is the administrator user).
- Pass-through Ctrl + Alt + Del to the remote session (Citrix only): if this property is enabled, for Citrix VDI connection only, the key combination CTRL+ALT+DEL is passed to the virtual session instead of passing it to the O.S. of the device. If you flag this property, you will notice that the "CTRL + ALT + DELETE" combination is added to the filter. You cannot delete this combination until you disable the property. If one of the presentation modes is enabled, you will not be able to log out from the corresponding Windows user with this key combination (you could do a Remote Assistance from ThinMan and, from the VNC window send the CTRL+ALT+DEL key combination).

Add a key filter Click on "ADD KEY FILTER" to add a key combination that will not be sent to the device's O.S.
A window opens. Press the keys related to the combination that you will filter (e.g., CTRL, ALT, a standard key, etc.). You can press one key at a time, not the entire combination.
When the combination is formed, please press "OK" to save it in the list.
The key combination is added to the list. Depending on the settings you could be asked to "Reboot" the device to apply the changes you made. Click "Reboot" to reboot the device.
The key combinations in the list will not be passed to the device's O.S.
To delete a keystroke combination hover the mouse on it and click on the trash icon on the right.
