Through the Local User Configuration, you can manage the local users.
This feature is not compatible with LDAP option
If you use the LDAP connection (see Options - LDAP Server Configuration) to verify the users with the ThinMan Login (see How to protect the Thin Client with ThinMan Login) or for the ThinMan Access Control, then you cannot use the Local User configuration. The Local Users are useful for test purpose or for company that does not use an Active Directory to identify the users.
Local User can be managed by clicking on "Local User" tab from the "General Option Settings" window.
The window will show a list of local users, as above (where empty there are no local users configured).
Local users can be used for ThinMan Access Control, a way to protect ThinMan consoles from unauthorized accesses.
Local users can be easily created by clicking on "Add".
Set the username and the password. Click "OK" to save the user and close the dialog box.
The new user is created and appears in the list.
To change the password to a local user select it and click on "Edit".
In the new window, you will be requested to enter and confirm the new password. Click "OK" to confirm the change.
To remove or delete a user, select it, click "Remove" and confirm the operation.
