¶ Download the installation and upgrading file
You can download the installation/upgrading file from MyPraim. From the section Products -> Download.
- Agile4PC (EXE format): to be applied on Windows devices for manually installing/upgrading Praim Agile on site.
- Agile4PC (PAR format): to be applied on Windows devices from ThinMan.
¶ Manually installing and upgrading
Write Filter:
If you have enabled the Write filter be sure to disable it before proceeding with the installation/upgrade.
To manually install or upgrade Praim Agile on a device, execute the Agile4PC(.exe) directly on your device. If there is an older version of Praim Agile, the wizard will ask you to remove the previous version as shown below.
Click on Ok to proceed.
The wizard will ask to confirm the removal of the previous version.
Click on Yes to proceed. The wizard will start removing the previous version.
After finishing the removal, the below window will be shown.
Click on "Finish" to proceed.
And Finally click on "OK" to proceed. The wizard will start with the installation of the newer version.
Click on "Install" to proceed.
After finishing with the installation, click on "Finish".
Your Praim Agile will be updated to the newer version.
¶ Upgrading from ThinMan Server

Use the (.par) file to upgrade Agile Configurator from ThinMan.

Proceed with the Remote Manual Upgrade or with the Remote Automatic Upgrade.
ThinMan & Write Filter:
ThinMan will take care of the write filter if it is enabled. The device will reboot twice, first to disable the write filter and then, to enable it again after the installation.
¶ Manual Upgrade
- Right click on the device or devices you want to upgrade.
- Select Device Update -> Agile Update. For more info read ThinMan: Contextual Menu - Device Update for Windows Devices - Agile Update.
¶ Automatic Upgrade
With ThinMan you can create an Scheduled Activities or an Event Activities to execute the Update.
A scheduled activity is executed at a specific time, while the event activity is triggered by an event (e.g. device reboot).
