The Power Management applet allows to configure these parameters:
- Screen Saver: select the type of screen saver and its timeout;
- Power Button: select which is the Default Action that is executed when the user press the physical power button on the device and the timeout finished;
- DPMS: Monitor Power Management, see also Advanced Settings available in the Video Settings paragraph in the User Interface chapter (a value of 0 means that the feature is not enabled);
- Suspend; this section allows to define the behavior of the suspend mode:
- Enable Suspend: if enabled allows the user to select between Restart, Power Off and Suspend when the Power Button is pressed on the device;
- Enable Autosuspend: if enabled put the device in suspend mode after "x" minutes of user inactivity.

AutoSuspend Mode and Energy Star compliance
Due to compliance with the Energy Star directives the "System AutoSuspend" is enabled and the time limit parameter is set to 30 minutes. This means that if you don't use the device for at least 30 minutes it will go in suspend mode. To wake up a device in suspend mode just press the power on button.
