By selecting the contextual menu Offline Configurations → Add New Device Policy/Add New User Policy on an already configured device, it is possible to create a Device/User Policy with a simple wizard.
The process is completely automated and it creates the corresponding Configuration Set, the corresponding Device/User Profile and the corresponding Device/User Policy in a couple of clicks.
The newly created policy can be afterwards modified and refined.
From the menu select Offline Configurations -> Add new Device Policy.
Enter the prefix name for all the items that will be created by the wizard (configuration set, device profile, device policy).
A new Configuration Set, a new Device Profile, and a new Device Policy are created and enabled at the same time.
From the contextual menu of the device policy you can modify the properties to include other devices, groups and classes (read Devices Policy for more information).
You can also flag the policy to "Use as Default Policy" (see Zero Config with Profile Manager for more informations).
From the contextual menu select Offline Configurations -> Add new User Policy.
Enter the prefix name for all the items that will be created by the wizard (configuration set, device profile, device policy).
A new Configuration Set, a new User Profile, and a new User Policy are created and enabled at the same time.
From the contextual menu of the User Policy you can modify the properties to associate users and groups of users (read Users Policy for more information).
