Every device on ThinMan has an attribute called Notes.
The Edit Notes command allows to change the content of the field.
By default, you will find the Note option selected. Here, you can write a free text related to the device. E.g. Name of the person using the device, department of the company where the device belongs to, etc.
Optionally, if you are using the ThinMan Login feature on this device; you can select one of the other 2 options:
- ThinMan Login(if logged) - Username: in this case, the Note field will contain the username logged to the device.
- ThinMan Login(if logged) - Domain\Username: in this case, the Note field will contain the username logged to the device under the format Domain\Username.
Click on "OK" to save the note.
You can view the notes in the attribute of the device.
Notes can be imported using a file using the Import Devices Notes File Menu.
