Edit menu is related to move of devices and groups, to rename or delete object, to find object in the tree and to modify properties of an object.
Use "Move To..." command to move an object, some objects or a group in a new position on the tree. The command can be used for devices and virtual desktops. Select a single object or multiple objects or a group and select "Move To...".
A new window will appear, select in which group (can be also "Devices")
you want to move the objects and click on "OK" button. The objects will
be moved to the selected group.
Permits to rename a Group. Select a group and select "Rename".
A new window will appear, modify the name and click on "OK" button to save the new name. The group name is changed accordingly to what inserted.
Use "Delete" command to delete an object, some objects or a group on the tree. The command can be used for devices, group of device, virtual desktops, group of virtual desktop, scheduled activities, event activities, profiles and policies. Select a single object or multiple objects or a group and select "Delete".
A window will appear requesting a confirmation. In case you delete a device you will delete also its association from activities and
profiles.
Use "Find" command to find an object on the tree. This is useful in case of handling hundreds of devices. Find can search for devices, groups, virtual desktops, events and profiles depending on which tree is selected when the operation is requested.
You can select on which attribute (parameter "Search Detail") do the search. For thin client the available parameters are:
For virtual desktop the available parameters are:
For Profile and Event the search can be performed only for "All details".
You can select (parameter "View Select") what will happens in term of object selection on "OK" button clicking
Type some text in the input field then click on "->" and the list will show results based on configured parameters. Select in the list the object you are interested in.
Click on "OK" to locate and select the previously selected object inside the tree.
Depending on the items selected when the command is executed, the "Properties" menu allows to do different things (and it may be enabled or not)
