DO NOT USE USB 3.O PORT
Do not use the key generated by the Toolkit on thin client USB 3.0 ports. The USB key generated by the Praim Toolkit is not working using USB 3.0 ports on the thin client, use only USB 2.0 ports.
WINDOWS EMBEDDED and USB 3.0 Ports
For Windows Embedded device we also suggest to detach any USB device attached to USB 3.0 ports, leaving only mouse and keyboard attached on USB 2 ports, during the restoring of a Windows Image until the process has completely finished.
Once the USB Key is prepared (see How to create Recovery USB Key for ThinOX or How to create Recovery USB Key for Windows Embedded or How to create an Upgrade BIOS USB Key for Praim thin client) you can use it on a thin client.
Follow the instructions below to boot Zenith models (Z9219, Z9221, Z9254) from the USB Key:
The thin client will reboot using the USB Key as boot device. This configuration is not saved in the BIOS, every time you need to boot from a USB device you will have to follow the above procedure.
Missing license code
The thin client will eventually ask for Numero di Serie (Serial Number) and Codice Licenza (License Code). Read Where can I find a device's license code? for more information.
