To use bluetooth devices, it is necessary to enable it.
Go to Settings -> Network, double click on Bluetooth.
It will opened the bluetooth configurator window.
Select Enable bluetooth. The system needs to be rebooted in order to apply the changes. Proceed by clicking on OK. The bluetooth configurator window will be closed.
Click on the button Confirm Changes in the Configuration Settings window. It will be asked to reboot the system in order to apply the changes. Click on Yes to proceed.
After the reboot, go back to the bluetooth configurator window. Click on Scan to start looking for bluetooth devices.
Then, you will see a list of bluetooth devices near to the terminal.
Now, enable the bluetooth devices you want to make available for its used.
Click on OK to close the bluetooth configurator.
Open the Bluetooth device state window by clicking on the bluetooth icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
On this screen you can change the bluetooth devices' status.
Click on the Start Scan button to detect all bluetooth devices around the terminal. The devices that have not been enabled on the bluetooth configurator window will appear as Disabled and cannot be managed.
Click on Pair button whenever you want to use a bluetooth device with the terminal. Automatically the device will pass to the Connected status, now you can start using the bluetooth the device on the terminal.
Citrix & VMware USB Redirection
When using Citrix be sure you have configured properly the bluetooth device on the Citrix HDX USB Redirection configurator. Similarly, if you are using VMware, be sure you have configured properly the bluetooth device on the VMware View USB Redirection.
Once the bluetooth device is Connected you can:
Disconnect the bluetooth device from the terminal. It will pass to the Disconnected status.
Unpair the bluetooth device from the terminal. It will pass to the Not paired status and disappear from the list of bluetooth devices. Click on Start Scan to visualize it again on the list.
Block the bluetooth device from the terminal. It will pass to the Blocked status. Certain bluetooth devices try to reconnect automatically to the terminal, in order to avoid this, you can block the device.
