If you are using the ThinMan Profile Manager, it is very likely you are using one or more device policies to configure your devices.
If any of the devices under a device policy starts experiencing technical issues, follow the steps explained below to isolate the device from any policy it can be subject to.
Create a policy with no device profile associated to it, choose all the default values given on the wizard.
Once you have created the policy, it will be placed at the bottom of the devices policies tree.
Change the position of the policy to be the first one on the tree. Right click on the policy, select Move Policy (Set priority).
The Set Priority window will open.
Select the isolated policy and move it to the first place.
Click on OK.
You will see, now the isolated policy at the top of the devices policies tree.
Go to the Devices tab and select the devices you want to isolate from any policy. Click on OK.
To verify the device has been isolated, right click on the device and select Associated Device Policies.
It will open the Associated Device Policy window, listing all the policies associated to the device in their descending order of priority. Only the toppest policy will be applied on the device.
Also, you can check on the Details area, the Device Profile Status is Profile Unavailable, i.e. the device has no device profile associated to it.
