A PuTTY connection can be configured on the thin client.
To create a new connection insert at least the host-name in the "Host Name" field (it could be also an IP address) then insert a name for the connection in the "Saved Session" field and click on" Save" (before clicking on save you can change all other parameters available in the configurator).
You will see a new session created in the list; press "Cancel" to exit from the configurator.
The new connection is created on the desktop (and double click on the icon will run it).
For a more detailed description of the parameters that are available in a PuTTY connection please refer to the official documentation page at this link: http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/0.67/htmldoc/
Right-click on a created connection on the desktop and select the "Edit" menu (you can also use the Connections Manager, select the connection and click the "Edit..." button).
From the PuTTY configuration window select the connection to edit and click on "Load" button, this operation will load the parameters of the connection in the configuration window.
Change the parameters of the connection; you can change all the parameters present in any of the Category panels. To save the parameters select the "Session" Category in the tree on the left and click on "Save". This will save the modified parameters in the connection.
To delete a PuTTY connection right-click it in the desktop and select the "Delete" menu (you can also use the Connections Manager, select the connection and click the "Delete..." button).
Double click the connection on the desktop (you can also use the Connections Manager, select the connection and click the "Connect" button).
The first time you connect to a server you can be prompted by the PuTTY connection on the server identity; click on "Accept" to accept the fingerprint and do not be warned again.
The connection is started and you can enter the server credentials.
You can configure the PuTTY connection to be auto-started when the device is powered on. Follow the procedure you can find in the Connections Manager -> Startup Options paragraph.
