Remote Assistance provides the capability to remotely access and operate a ThinMan gateway as if you were physically present at the device. This feature leverages the VNC protocol, seamlessly integrated into both the ThinMan console and the gateway.
Right click on the gateway and select Remote Assistance. You will be asked to confirm the remote assistance.
Click on Yes.
The Top Bar in the Remote Assistance window provides access to a variety of essential commands to streamline device management and troubleshooting.
Available: Commands:
- Ctrl+Alt+Del to the Host
Sends the Ctrl+Alt+Del command, particularly useful for managing Windows Embedded devices.
- Toggle Fullscreen Mode
Switches between fullscreen and windowed modes.
- Show Connection Options
Displays additional connection settings:

- Refresh Screen
Updates the displayed desktop view.
- Send Start (Ctrl+ Esc) to Host
Simulates the Ctrl+Esc command to bring up the Start menu.
- Send Custom Key
Allows sending user-defined key commands to the device.
- Show Status Window
Displays connection details and performance metrics.
- Close Connections
Ends the current remote assistance session.
- Hide Toolbar buttons
