Right click on the Desktop, select Add connection.
On the Connection tab, write the connection name and the View Server.
Click on the VMware options whether you want to modify one of the options shown below.
If you are using the ThinMan Login,on the Login tab, select Enable Auto Login and ThinMan Login Credentials pass-through to allow the pass-through of the credentials used on the ThinMan Login to open the connection.
If you want the connection opens directly a specific Virtual Desktop, on the Autostart tab, enable the Auto connect Desktop based on Display Name, select the Desktop Display Name and write it.
Click on OK to create the connection.
An icon will be displayed on the Desktop.
If you want the connection to start right after the device's startup, right click on the connection icon and select the Startup Options.
Select the Enable connection autostart. Optionally, you can select an option On Session Close. For more information, read ThinOX Connections Manager: Startup Options.
The connection explained below corresponds to a connection configured with the parameters indicated before. I.e. Using ThinMan Login pass-through credentials, opening the connection on startup.
Right after turning on the device, the ThinMan Login window will be shown.
Insert the credentials.
The VMware connection will start using the ThinMan credentials and it will open the virtual desktop indicated on the configuration.
The desktop will open.
Horizon View toolbar
Notice that the presence of the Horizon View toolbar is one of the options you can configure on the VMware Options section explained before. Be aware, it also depends on how you have configured the vmware policies.![]()
