Note for Write Filter
Before to make any changes please read carefully the paragraph on Using the Write Filter (Agile chapter). Remember that any operation executed on the device when the write filter is enabled is not saved on the disk on module (DoM) of the device.
IMPORTANT: Login the device using the "Admin" user or another user with Administrator privileges.
¶ Network Settings
Open the Network Settings panel for the network adapter in use.
¶ Method 1
Click on the network adapter in the right part of the task-bar and then click on the "Network settings" link.
Click on the adapter (in this case the "Ethernet" adapter).
Skip the "Method 2" below.
¶ Method 2
From the menu select the "Settings" icon (or type "Settings" when the menu is opened).
Select the "Network and Internet" applet.
Select the adapter (in this case the "Ethernet" adapter).
Click on the adapter (in this case the "Ethernet" adapter).
¶ Change to Public
Change the "Find device and content" switch to "Off"...
...to have the "Network Location" set to "Public".
¶ Change to Private
Change the "Find device and content" switch to "On"...
...to have the "Network Location" set to "Private".
