Access the Agile Settings window and disable the Unified Write Filter in the Write Filter panel (for more information see Accessing the Praim Agile Settings and Using the Write Filter).
Reboot the device and log into the system using the Admin user (or another user with administrative privileges).
Launch the Windows Explorer (you can use hotkey "WIN + E") and create the directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access Java\" (create first the "IBM" folder and then the "Client Access Java" subfolder).
Copy all the installation directory files of the iAccess Java client into the created folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access Java\".
Run the "Notepad" editor using the "Run As Administrator" menu and edit the file "*.HOD" (e.g. "Session A.hod"). The editing must change the file to be valid for your infrastructure.
Go back to the "C:\Progam Files (x86)" folder.
Right-click the "IBM" folder and select the "Properties" menu.
Use the "Edit..." button to add the "Modify" and "Write" properties for the "Users" group of users.
Go to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access Java\" folder.
Associate the ".hod" files with the "IBM iAccess Client" (right-click the file and select the "Open with" → "Choose another app" menu).
Install the Java Runtime Environment from the www.java.com website (e.g. "Java SE Runtime Environment 8 update 151").
Access the Agile Settings window and create a new Resource of type "Local Application" in the Resource Panel (for more information see Accessing the Praim Agile Settings, Resources, and Local Application).
Insert a name for the resource (e.g. "HOD 1").
For the "Executable" parameter select the "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access Java\Client access java as400\Start_Programs\Windows_i386-32\acslaunch_win-32.exe" file.
In the "Arguments" parameter insert the pathname to the "*.hod" file. (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access Java\Session A.hod". Remind to insert the pathname inside a couple of double-quote characters, see the example in the picture below).
The picture above is the sample for the "Local Application" parameters. For more information see Local Application.
Repeat the steps of this chapter for every "*.hod" resource type.
In the "Agile Mode" panel activate the Agile Mode (for more information see Agile Mode Administration and Agile Mode User Interface).
Reboot the device and test the Local Application that launches the IBM iAccess Client.
The first time you launch the resource you have to accept the IBM EULA.
At this point, you can also resize the Client window to fit your needs.
Reboot the device again.
Access the Agile Settings window and enable the Unified Write Filter in the Write Filter panel (for more information see Accessing the Praim Agile Settings and Using the Write Filter).
Reboot the device to enable the Write Filter.
